Spring Fever!

I must apologize for my lack of posts lately, but I've been frantically creating new designs for the upcoming Glitterfest show! This will be my only "Spring-themed" show this year, so I'm really focusing on lots of bunnies, chicks and other spring favorites.

I generally put most of my attention to Halloween and Christmas designs, but this year the "Spring" bug bit me! I don't know what it was...our unusually warm Winter weather, or perhaps the new Martha Stewart pastel paints I purchased. Whatever it was, I'm thoroughly loving this spring-fever I've got!

Sneak Peak

This Friday is the February update on Spookytime Jingles. It is also a Holiday Hootenanny, which means that many of the participating artists will be offering Easter-themed art as well as the usual Christmas and Halloween. I decided to not only offer Easter, but Halloween as well...both combined in the same piece! Here's a sneak peak at "Howard the Halloween Bunny."

In addition to Howard, I will be offering several Springtime-themed pieces. Be sure to drop by the 13th at midnight (EST).

Holiday Hootenany on Spookytime Jingles!

Starting tonight at Midnight (EST), the virtual doors will open on yet another month of Halloween and Christmas offerings from the many talented artists of Spookytime Jingles. But this month is something special - it's time for the annual Holiday Hootenany! Which means that many of the artists (including myself) will offer Valentine's-themed pieces. Here's a sneak peek at mine, titled "Cold Hands, Warm Heart." Unfortunatley, time has really snuck up on me and I will only be offering one Valentine's piece for this update. However, I have a couple of Cupids in the work right now which will done next week. Look for an update soon!

It's Time for SpookyTime Jingles!

Tomorrow night at midnight will be the release of the new issue of SpookyTime Jingles! I have several exclusive creations that I will be offering on a first-come first-served basis! Many collectors anxiously sit by the computer hitting the refresh button at midnight in hopes of being the first to grab one of the creations from the more than 20 amazing artists represented on the site.

Pepé the circus clown (above) is just one of the new Halloween and Christmas creations I will be unveiling.

Happy Anniversary STJ!

It's hard to believe, but SpookyTimeJingles turns 1 year old this month! If you're not familiar with SpookyTimeJingles (or STJ for people in the know) this is a wonderful online marketplace that features some of the finest Halloween and Christmas artists around. I'm proud to have been one of the original members of this site from the start.

With so many amazing artists on STJ, it has caused me to push myself creatively - farther than I've ever gone - stepping out of my comfort zone and creating the best work I can. I have met some wonderful lifelong friends through this site, and look forward to meeting many more.

This month I'm offering several new Halloween and Christmas goodies (a few pictured below) designed exclusively for STJ.

Zippo the Zombie Clown

You might remember an earlier post of Zippo as a WIP. He's long since been completed and waiting for just the right time to be unleashed on an unsuspecting public! The time is now! Zippo makes his debut on Spookytimes Jingles tonight at Midnight. Stop by and get a good look at him...if you dare!

I will also be debuting another Halloween piece and two for Christmas. But, you'll have to wait until tonight to see them. I know, I'm a real stinker!!!

Chicken Lips on Spooky Time Jingles

Wow...is it really that time of month already? Seems it sneaks up on me so fast! Tonight at midnight is the update for Spookytime Jingles, and tonight I'll be introducing you to Mortimer the Grave Digger! Stop by and get to know this creepy fellow!

Santas and Devils and Skellys...oh my!

It's hard to believe, but it's update time on Spookytime Jingles already! Each 13th of the month, new offerings are posted by some of the most amazing artists around! I've been lucky enough to be included in that group. Here are a few of my newest creations that will be available at 1/13/09, 12am (and yes, there are some wonderful fans of the site who actually start shopping at 12am!).

Here they are, Camilla's babies (see earlier post). All painted and ready to take on the world! I will be offering these little bundles of joy on SpookyTimes Jingles Holiday Hootenanny on the 13th of this month. I've got even more Easter/Spring time creations to share, so stay tuned!
