Growing up in Southern California meant that our annual summer trip was almost always to Disneyland. I looked forward all year to that one special day, usually right around Labor Day. Years later, I still look forward to trips to the Magic Kingdom (although with an Annual Pass, those trips are now much more frequent than once a year).
Bernie the Vacation Skelly is my tribute to those magical summers. Bernie is hand-sculpted from papier-maché, painted in acrylics, stained and sealed. He is approx. 11" high, signed, dated and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

LOL! Bernie is wonderful. He has that expression we all get when we see the castle, right? :) I grew up there, too, David, and I remember not being able to sleep the night before our big annual Disneyland day. Now I'm over here on the east coast, and it's all about Disney World. :) Some of us never grow up! xo Pam
I broke out in laughter when I saw your skelly...I had several pairs of those ears at one time!! We used to go every year too when I was a kid. We'd trek to Anaheim, spend time at Disneyland, then Knotts Berry Farm which was a hoot now looking back, do the LA tour, then to Vegas for the adults, my folks!! Their Disneyland!! LOL
