Out with the Old - in with the New!

I love this time of year - the week between Christmas and New Year's. It gives me a chance to clean my studio and workshop before I start working on new creations for 2010. There is something so optimistic about a newly cleaned work area. It seems like the possibilities for creativity are endless - kind of like looking a blank sheet of paper. The dust is all removed, the workbench is freshly papered, newly purchased paints are still sealed...I kind of hate to mess it all up again :(
Oh well, ya gotta break a few eggs to make a cake...or rather, ya gotta spill some paint and make some mess to make a Chicken Lips!

Happy New Year everyone!

WOW! Your studio is so tidy. I'm going to tidy my studio but it won't look as barren as that. I keep thinking that I need a bigger studio maybe I need to purge! haha The very best of new years to you.

Your space looks so clean and tidy. I am doing the same with my studio. Although it will not look as empty. I too need to purge some old junk to give me more space. Good luck in the new year and much success to you. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

On the same wave length, but I'm a bit ashamed at how my studio room looks right now. Perhaps I should take before and after so I can get sympathy for all my hard work...lol! I'm buying stackable drawers for all the different items I use, and trying to find space for food storage in the closet. Ahh the joys of apartment living...
Can't wait to see what you come up with for the new year!

Look at all those lovely shelves you have ready to fill with new "I gotta haves". I need to do the same with my studio, as soon as I get home from my holiday visit.

Have a very Happy and Creative New Year.

David - my work area looks like a war zone. Like dolls are fighting a battle with plushies, armed with paint and beads. It's not a pretty sight. I aspire to clean surfaces!!! xo Pam

My heavens! How can you work in that clean space??? You should see my studio, on second thought you shouldn't, but if you pop over to my blog you will find a special award just for you.
You don't have to pass it on if you have an award free blog...I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your work.
